Hi everyone, I just wanted
to say a big “THANK YOU” to all those that helped me on
Wednesday, Ladies Day, at Shelley Hall. Buster and I parted
company just five minutes in over a very large hedge that he
couldn’t quite decide what to do with… jump it or plough
straight on through!
It was only our fourth
outing and I hope he hasn’t embarrassed himself by behaving like
an idiot. He’s very keen and quite rude when barging into
everyone so when I saw the gate looming with only a limited
amount of space for riders to get through, I tried in vain to
slow up, then turn a circle but before I knew it, the hedge was
in front of us.
I did a spectacular nose
dive and still don’t know how my nose wasn’t broken…. I woke
this morning with what I thought to be bruises all over to
discover that it’s actually thorns from the hedge!! I now that
Buster was kindly helped with the removal of several too!!
We then had an exciting
time to get him back on the box – not his best attribute – but a
very kind man came along to help, Ian French, so thanks Ian as
you probably saved us hours of time and let me get home to a hot
bath sooner rather than later!
I’ve had a trip to the
Chiropractor and she wonders why I do it, but it’s great fun and
we hope to be back out again for the closing meet at Pebmarsh
(with a new hat!). Buster was thankful to get home and have a
nice roll and a day out with his mates in the field!
Many thanks again
Wendy, Buster and my sister
Maxine, my kind chauffeur
